FAQ
How is PULSE different from other burnout solutions?
We aren’t like other apps that have users read tedious 15-minute lessons to try to help people with their health. These often are not engaging and end up being “just another thing on the to-do list” for your staff. These apps are also designed specifically for people who are already skilled at making and sticking to their plans. PULSE is tailored to users’ personality types so that they can make health plans that meet them where they are.
Why is PULSE tailored to personality?
The typical health promotion program is geared towards people who are conscientious. People who need almost no extra help in setting and achieving their goals. Why? Because it’s easy. It’s easy to give a cookie cutter health program that is not engaging or tailored to fit people’s unique needs. PULSE puts that old ideology on its head and we know that each person needs different levels of support, engagement and encouragement to achieve their health goals and break free from burnout.
Who is a part of the team that developed PULSE?
PULSE’s program and vision was crafted by Dr. Hannah Lightcap. Dr. Marguerite Corvini and DJ Beasley are consultants on the project who liaise with healthcare professionals, hospitals, and help guide the marketing and vision for PULSE. Tolu, Founder of Asokpo, LLC is PULSE’s app developer, bringing PULSE’s vision to life. Dr. Lightcap has over a decade of health behavior change and health coaching experience, psychometric survey development, and a PhD in Psychology. She developed PULSE to help give back to healthcare workers: the frontline workers that every community relies on.
